The love of the Father
The innermost desires of man
Do naught compare to the love of God
As He reaches out to touch the wayward life
Of one who would call on Him
The love of a Father that wells within at the very sound of the voice of His child
Calling, asking, loving, yet so frailly
The love of a Father that would see all so clearly
Yet as if blinded by pride refuses to condemn
